Technical Support Engineer

Blakell Europlacer Group designs, manufactures and distributes highly sophisticated equipment for use in the Electronics Industries, we operate on an international level and due to continued growth are currently seeking a Customer Support Engineer to be based in the UK.
This position shall cover not only our own product ranges but offers the potential to work on other high end equipment, both domestically and internationally.
The successful applicant would possess the following skills & attributes:
A Good level of diagnostic abilities including, computer literacy, electro-mechanical & electronics knowledge using circuit diagrams and schedules, the ability to use fault finding equipment is also a requirement.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the SMT industry of Pick and Place equipment; however, good knowledge of Automation/Robotic systems using Servo / Linear motors, and Vision analysis from other industries will be acceptable. We are looking for a person with talent and a good attitude and we can provide training to the right candidate.
With our Equipment installed within many 24/7 facilities worldwide, a high level of self-motivation and discipline is needed to ensure our customers are on-line 100% of the time.
